As there has been an increase on demand for physiotherapists both domestically and abroad as a result of industrialization and mechanization- no doubt about it- Physiotherapy profession will be more profitable in India than ever before!

A Physiotherapist is a very important member of the healthcare team where their responsibility is to rehabilitate patients back to normal without medicines by means of exercise, manual therapy, rehabilitation techniques and physical activity. A Physiotherapist's duty involves helping patients recover and/or rehabilitate from a state in which they have been incapacitated from neurological, musculoskeletal problems among others. They are also key health professionals in the prevention of injuries including on-field sports injuries. They treat reactions and responses caused by injury or disease as well as abnormalities in development.

Physiotherapy course duration is 4.5 years including internship program.

BPT Eligibility

he candidates should have passed the Intermediate, higher secondary examination, 12th Class or equivalent examination with Biologgy, Physics, Chemistry and English put together are only eligible to apply.

  • The candidates belongs to socially and economically backward family will have 5% of relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.

BSc Nursing Course Duration

BSc Nursing Eligibility

The candidates should have passed the Intermediate, higher secondary examination, 12th Class or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English put together are only eligible to apply.

Age: The Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31 December 2022. The candidates applying for admission to any reservation will have to send a certificate which can prove their reservation.

  • The candidates belongs to socially and economically backward family will have 5% of relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.

General Nursing and Midwifery

General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

Those who desire to become clinical nurses may enrol in a General Nursing and Midwifery programme, which lasts for three years. The programme instructs students how to care for individuals who are ill or injured in order to help them make a full recovery. The course curriculum designed by Indian Nursing Council, GNM programmes are intended to prepare students for the clinical approach of dealing with patients.

GNM Nursing Eligibility

The candidates should have passed the Intermediate, higher secondary examination, 12th Class or equivalent examination with minimum 40% marks are eligible to apply.

Age: The Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31 December 2022. The candidates applying for admission to any reservation will have to send a certificate which can prove their reservation.

  • The candidates belongs to socially and economically backward family will have 5% of relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.
