PROSPECTUS FOR ADMISSION INTO BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (B.Sc) IN ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES COURSES INCLUDING BPT AND B.Sc (MLT) COURSES FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2023- 24
REGULATIONS
A) These Regulations are applicable for admission into Competent Authority Quota Seats in Government and Private B.Sc. (Allied Health Sciences) colleges including BPT and B.Sc (MLT) course. The following new courses are sanctioned by State Government from 2023-24 (As per G.O.MS.No. 14 HM & FW Department (C1), dated 11.02.2023).
B) All the Candidates shall fulfill the regulations for admission into B.Sc.(Allied Health Sciences) Degree Courses including BPT and B.Sc (MLT) course for admission into Competent Authority Quota Seats.
The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus / instructions to fill the application form from the website www.knruhs.telangana.gov.in before proceeding to fill the online application form.
C). The list of colleges and seat matrix for Competent Authority Quota seats into B.Sc(Allied Health Sciences) Courses including B.Sc (MLT) course at Government and Private Colleges for academic year 2023-24 will be displayed in the KNRUHS website before exercising web options for counseling.
D). Tuition Fee will be as notified by the State Government.
E). In case any new courses/new institutions are permitted by State Government/University for the Academic Year 2023-24, those seats will also be filled up. NO FURTHER NOTIFICATIONS WILL BE ISSUED.
2. ELIGIBILITY:
i. The candidates should be citizens of India and should satisfy the local or non-local status in Telangana /Andhra Pradesh as laid down in Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulations of admissions) order, 1974 and the selection will be done as per the procedure laid down in the G.O.P.No.646, dated 10-07-1979 as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education (EC2), dated18-05-2009 and the Government Orders on Rules of Admissions into Allied Health Sciences courses.
ii. The candidates have to apply online and upload the original certificates in response to notification issued by KNRUHS. The merit rank notified after verification of certificates by KNR University of Health Sciences, shall be the basis for selection into B.Sc.,(Allied Health Sciences) courses including BPT and B.Sc (MLT) courses into Competent Authority Quota seats.
iii. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: For B.Sc Allied Sciences courses including BPT and B.Sc (MLT) course Candidates seeking admission should have passed
2 years Intermediate Examination (10 + 2 pattern) with Botany, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry and English conducted by Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana
state.
or
Any other examination of (10 + 2 pattern) from recognized Board under AISSCE / CBSE/ ICSE / SSCE / HSCE / NIOS / TOSS of other equivalent Board with Biology, Physics and Chemistry recognized as equivalent by Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana state.
or
Intermediate (10+2) with Bridge course with Biology and Physical Science.
Note: Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board or an institution outside the state should produce a certificate of equivalence from the Board of Intermediate
Education of Telangana, Hyderabad to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination with the above mentioned subjects
conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana of BPC group.
iv. AGE: Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December 2023.
Note:
a) Age shall be calculated on the basis of date of birth as indicated in the Secondary School Certificate examination or equivalent examination.
b) No request for relaxation of age of a candidate shall be permitted.
c) Candidates born on or after 02-01-2007 are not eligible
v. DURATION OF THE COURSE – 4 years including 1 year compulsory Internship.
vi. Duration of the course for BPT course – 4 years + 6 months compulsory Internship
3. ONLINE APPLICATIONS
The on-line application form for determining merit position forCompetent Authority Quota seats will be available on the website https://alliedhs.tsche.in from 8.00 AM on 27-10-2023 upto 06.00 PM. on 0 2 -11 -2023.
Note: The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus / Instructions to fill the application form from the website http://www.knruhs.telangana.gov.in/ or from
https://alliedhs.tsche.in before proceeding to fill the application form.
The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with the data required for through computer with internet connection. The candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going through the Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates, Scanned Photo and Signature in the jpg/.gif format separately (as shown below) and ready to enter his/her correct data and upload the photo, signature and original certificates, after the payment of application fee through Online.
Registration and Verification Fee:
a) The Registration and Verification fee Rs. 2500/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for OC & BC candidates and Rs. 2000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST candidates shall be paid online through payment gateway i.e., Debit card / Credit card or NetBanking.**
b) **Registration and Verification fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a further date.
